Many of you maybe to young to remember, and I don't remember when Mary Weiss (of the 60's Girl Band, The Shangri-Las) was big. I don't, I was was just born at the high point of their music career.
Anyhow, Mary Weiss has returned to singing and has a cool band behind her, with one Band Members from an 1980's (New Wave-MTV Era) Band.
Mary's voice doesn't sound like it did in the 60's, she is older now, much more of a deeper singing voice, which is great. What I would love to see is Mary Weiss and Blotto on stage together! Now I know that sounds crazy, but go to You Tube, check out Mary's Currnet Songs, and just maybe, you'll get my drift. She has a new CD out.
Sarge Blotto and Mary Weiss on stage, that would be awsome! I could just see Mary up there with Blotto, they would have a lot of fun on stage. Now I am trying to picture Mary Weiss singing "Metal Head" with Sarge.
