Gotta be Metal Head, for so many reasons. Sarge falling over when the van disappears has to be my favorite video moment of them all. Add the cameo by Blue Öyster Cult's Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, and you've got a winner!

"I Wanna Be A Lifeguard". A couple of years ago we (our family) flew up to Schenectady for my sisters wedding. We came up early to spend some time. Anyway, my kids (12,12 and 8 at the time) had never seen snow. One day we took a trip up to Lake George in the hopes of finding some snow for them to throw around. Lake George in early April is deserted! We had a SIRIUS radio in the rental car and were running through the stations. I found a 1980's station and left it on. Heard some great music. We were going past Million Dollar Beach and we stopped. I told my wife and kids about Blotto and how they were a great local band trying to make it big and how they filmed a video at Million Dollar Beach and how it got a lot of MTV airtime. We got back in the car and strted driving around the east side of Lake George trying to see what we could find. I had never been there before. Well, we saw a sign for "Top Of The Mountain" golf course and started to drive up. As we were driving up, "Lifeguard" came on the radio, I pulled over and cranked it up! I started to sing (like I did with almost every other song they played!) and my wife and kids realized I was certifiably nuts!
It was cool to hear the song so soon after telling them about the video and BEING where part of it was filmed!
My goal is to be back in upstate NY when they will be playing and to get my wife and kids to see a concert. Unless of course they come down to the Ft. Lauderdale, FL area! Greg

which video featured "TUBE TOPS"? This driving me a little nuts. the whole band wore them for one bit in the video. MTV played it, when they actually played music videos. would like to see it again.
